Simone Biles
Simone Biles won her 20th gold medal at the World Championships, as Team USA captured its seventh consecutive world championship on October 4, in Antwerp, Belgium. With 33 medals, she is the most decorated woman on the gymnastics stage. This is not just the Olympics. Biles did an extremely challenging vault just three days prior, which no woman had done before on the stage of competition internationally. Previously called Biles' Yurchenko double pike vault, the ability has been given the name of Biles II. The 6th of October is when the record-breaking athlete will compete in her individual all-around competition. This will be her first time competing internationally since the year 2021.
